KNEEL AND DELIVER

(Sung to the tune of the Star Spangled Banner)
Oh say “I can’t breathe” cried Eric Garner with fright
As the Brooklyn police gave his body a banging
And in Cleveland, Tamir died because he’s not white
Texas cops did the same, Sandra Bland was found hanging
Walter Scott tried to flee but the Charleston P.D.
Shot him dead as he fled Could have been you or me
If the NFL players want justice to prevail
Raise a fist or take a knee Unified they won’t fail
While the President whines, sends a tweet starts to moan
Freddie Gray lost his life in a Baltimore wagon
Don’t lose sight of the goal I don’t mean the end zone
Michael Brown is dead, too Ferguson is still braggin’
And Philando Castile must have thought it unreal
When the officer shot, and his fate he did seal
When brave men kneel in silence, protest police brutality
They exemplify the brave in the home of the free
