Many scenes were grim and gory

But of Kyle you can’t ignore he

Fulfilled the promise that he’d vowed

Yet what’s the point of this sad flick

It really made my stomach sick

Another paean to the clique

Of Bush and Cheney and their crowd

Though what could you expect from Clint

The red state right wing elephant

He champions is surely innocent

Of killing those Iraqis

If we had found those WMD’s

This movie then would surely please

Alas, Clint now collects his fees

As one of Rumsfeld’s lackeys

He briefly showed domestic strife

A peek in Kyle’s private life

A moment with his forlorn wife

Then quickly back to murder

Though with his wife there was a schism

His home affairs a cataclysm

This movie’s theme is jingoism

His wife he barely heard her

The apple pie and flags and such

Didn’t matter very much

To those Iraqis out of touch

With America’s lofty goals

You see this flick is not about

Excessive force, America’s clout

We’re filled with pride but leave no doubt

We’ve left Iraqis full of holes

And when the Academy comes to vote

Mr. E will surely gloat

The winner is… the world will note

“Clint Eastwood” is the name they call
